ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

The Meest Association for Aid to Ukraine was established to bring aid effectively to people and institutions in Ukraine and to refugees from Ukraine in Poland.

We are partners for donors from all parts of the world. We support their relief initiatives mostly by organizing deliveries of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We are also fully responsible for the execution and logistics of selected projects.

The Meest Group companies, which have handled shipments to Ukraine from all parts of the world for more than 30 years, are important partners of the Association. Their mission is to connect the Ukrainians living abroad with those who stayed in Ukraine. The experience of Meest in providing postal and logistic services allows it to bring aid to Ukraine effectively. All Meest companies in the world participate in this activity by accepting humanitarian aid from donors located on various continents and delivering it to the recipients.

OUR GOALS

The aim of the Meest Association for Aid to Ukraine is to provide humanitarian aid to persons and institutions in Ukraine and to provide financial, organizational, legal and social support for refugees from Ukraine in Poland.

OUR ACTIVITIES

What we do to support persons and institutions in Ukraine:

  • We organize transport of humanitarian aid from the territory of Poland to Ukraine on a fixed transport route Warsaw - Dębica - Lviv.
  • We help with the formalities associated with the preparation of humanitarian aid shipment in cooperation with customs agencies
  • We run a humanitarian aid warehouse and prepare the goods received for shipment
  • We organize the financing and purchase of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, food, clothes and other necessities
  • We buy food, prepare food packages and deliver them to charities operating in Ukraine

How we help Ukrainian refugees in Poland:

  • We help to find accommodation and employment
  • We organize the services of translators and psychologists
  • We provide legal aid to help with the formalities required to legalize a stay in Poland
  • We help to obtain access to medical and social care
